The Bama DB feared the arrest would be the end of his career.

Alabama DB Tony Mitchell shared he was very worried that his career was over after he was arrested for drug possession.

The defensive back shared on social media that “something much worse could have happened.”

The Floridian court sentenced the Bama’s player to 3 years of probation with a monetary penalty and community service after Tony said he was guilty of having more than twenty grams of cannabis.

“I was not sure if I would play football again, but I continued to prepare like I was on the field and received a lot of support from those who love me,” the DB shared. “During that period, it helped me to think about something else. But when I was alone looking at social media, what everybody shared about the accident, it felt like it happened again.

“I lost my sleep.”
