Carlos converted a break in Auger-Aliassime’s 2nd serve game in the 2nd set to take a 3-1 lead and then continued to have break chances as the Spaniard converted a 2nd break to take a 5-1 game lead and to serve for the final. The Spaniard had no problems and closed the 2nd set also 6-1 and will compete for the gold on Sunday.
Carlos will have the opportunity to win a gold medal in his debut Olympics as he became the 2nd youngest ½ finalist at Olympic Games only behind Novak Djokovic.
