Carlos Alcaraz completed a phenomenal comeback after losing the first 2 sets against Jannik Sinner, but eventually won the final 3-2 sets after a tiebreak in the deciding set and won the French Open for a 2nd time in his career.
The match started in the best way possible for Sinner as he converted 2 from 4 break points, and that was enough for the Italian to win the 1st set 6-4. In the 2nd set, each player converted one break point from one chance the winner was decided after a tiebreak as Jannik won it and continued his series of not losing sets at the Roland-Garros this year.

In the 3rd set, Alcaraz started to play better and won it 6-4 after breaking his opponent’s serve 3 times, as that was the 1st set that the Italian lost in this year’s French Open.
In the 4th set, Sinner had 3 match balls at Carlos’ serve, but the Spaniard saved them all, and after that, broke Jannik’s serve to force a tiebreak and won it to even the sets 2-2.
The 5th set started with 2 games in a row for Alcaraz as Sinner had an opportunity to tie the games 2-2, but Carlos saved them to lead 3-1. However, the Italian evened the games and the winner was decided after a championship tiebreak.
The Spaniard dominated in the tiebreak as he won the 1st 7 points and closed the set and the match with 10-2 points.
