The Spaniard won the 1st set after 1 break was enough for that as the Bulgarian had 3 chances to break Alcaraz’s serve, but the world number 2 saved them all.
Grigor started the 2nd set very well and had a 3-0 game lead with 1 break, but after that, Dimitrov lost 4 straight games. However, the player from Bulgaria breaks his opponent from Spain serve again to tie the game 4-4. After that, Alcaraz showed why he is the 2nd best player in the world and won again 2 games in a row, including 1 break to win the set and the match.
That was Carlos’s 3rd straight victory against Grigor, as they had played 3 matches.
