Carlos Alcaraz cruised past Stefanos Tsitsipas to secure a spot in the French Open semi-finals, where he will face the incoming world number one, Jannik Sinner.
The Spanish third seed, aged 21, defeated Greek ninth seed Tsitsipas with a scoreline of 6-3, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 on the Roland Garros clay. Tsitsipas was visibly not in form and although he had a chance to win the second set in a tiebreak, he could win a single part against Alcaraz, suffering one of the biggest loses against his Spanish opponent.
