Alcaraz: Medvedev is one of the best and hard to beat

Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz shared his expectations from the match with Russian Daniil Medvedev at the ATP Finals tournament. The Spaniard must win the game against the world No.3 in order to qualify for the last four in the tournament.

“We will try to use the US Open match as an example. For a long time I was not in the right state psychologically. This cannot happen against Daniil. I know how he will play, so before the game we will think about a strategy. Medvedev is one of the best players in the world. You have to play very well tactically, be patient and aggressive at the same time. He is very hard to beat. You have to wait for the right moment, but at the same time be dynamic and calm, make five or six shots in the serves until the chance comes, while understanding that often there won’t be one,” Alcaraz told the ATP website .
