Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti spoke before the media ahead of the upcoming Spanish Cup clash against Arandina.

“We are the reigning champions in this tournament and we will try to win it again. Kroos, Tchouameni and Vinicius will not play tomorrow. Toni has a minor ankle issue after the Mallorca match, while Tchouameni needs a break. Ferland Mendy will also be unavailable; he will return for the Supercup matches,” said Ancelotti regarding the team’s squad issues.

“There will be changes. It will be challenging, just like a year ago when we started difficultly in the tournament. We will be competitive. I have won the Copa del Rey twice, and both are unforgettable. We are 100% focused on this competition,” reassured the Italian.

“The other players will travel for the match. Kepa and Arda Guler will play tomorrow, and Camavinga is back. Dani Carvajal is an option to play as a central defender,” he added.
