Andreescu beats Navarro and advances to the French Open 3rd round

Bianca Vanessa Andreescu, world number 42, won against Emma Navarro, world number 75, 2-0 sets for only 1 hour and 10 minutes.

The Canadian tennis player destroyed her opponent in the 1^st set 6-1 for only 26 minutes after breaking her serve 3 times and winning the 1^st 4 games in the match.

The 2^nd set was much more interesting as Navarro made the 1^st break, but Andreescu bounced back with 2 breaks in the final games of the set to win it 6-4 and close the match in straight sets.

The Canadian will face Lesia Tsurenko from Ukraine in the 1/16 finals of the Grand Slam in Paris.
