Andy Murray and Ivan Lendl will no longer work together as they part ways for a 3rd time.
Lendl was the British tennis player’s coach when he triumphed with his 3 Grand Slams and returned as his coach again in 2022.
Both parties decided that it was best for them to separate their ways ahead of the new season.
“Lendl has been by my side at the most successful period in my career, and I can’t thank him enough for the help and support that he gave me to achieve these things,” claimed Murray, the ex-world No. 1. “Ivan is a unique character who knows what it takes to triumph, and I’ve learned an awful lot during our period together.”
Andy 1st hired Lendl in 2011 and started to get the best results in his career the following season when he took home the Olympic gold medal before triumphing with his 1st Grand Slam at the US Open.
