Shohei Ohtani had 9 strikeouts in six innings, while Mickey Moniak achieved his second big hit in the series to help his team en route to victory.
Ohtani also allowed 2 runs and 2 hits, but did not get a decision. For the 4th time in 10 games this season he has managed to bag 9 or more strikeouts, ranking him third in the list with 80. He leads the majors with a .142 opponent batting average.
Moniak came through with a two-run double off Pablo López in the seventh for a 3-1 lead.
Chris Devenski wrapped up the win and Carlos Estévez earned his 12th save.
