Indiana's star player proved crucial once again as he netted a basket with 0.3 seconds on the clock

Tyrese Haliburton delivered a dramatic game-winner with just 0.3 seconds left to lift the Indiana Pacers to a thrilling 111–110 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

The Pacers trailed the entire night, falling behind by as many as 15 points in the fourth quarter. But in the final seconds, after Thunder star and MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander missed a key jumper with 12 seconds remaining, Indiana seized the moment.

Haliburton grabbed the outlet pass and raced down the floor before sinking a 21-foot shot to give his team their only lead of the night—just in time.

It marked the fourth clutch moment for Haliburton in the 2025 playoffs, having now hit three game-winners and another shot that forced overtime.

Despite turning the ball over 25 times—20 of them in the first half—the Pacers managed to outlast the Thunder. Gilgeous-Alexander led all scorers with 38 points, but it wasn’t enough to preserve the win. Pascal Siakam paced Indiana with 19 points, while Obi Toppin added 17.

Reflecting on the Thunder’s late collapse, Jalen Williams admitted, “We played like we were trying to keep the lead instead of trying to extend it or be aggressive.”
