Berrettini’s 2023 season was plagued by injuries, culminating in his withdrawal from the U.S. Open’s second round after sustaining an ankle injury. The 27-year-old, who also faced a few weeks of absence in 2023 due to a tear in an oblique muscle, has seen a drop in his men’s rankings to 125.
