Anthony Edwards has agreed terms with his current team Minnesota Timberwolves to a 5-year contract extension, which is believed to be around $260m, reports say.

The 21-year-old will enter his final year of his rookie contract, which will earn him $13.5m. The maximum deal will begin from 2024-25 onwards.
“I’m humbled, appreciative and excited to remain in Minnesota as a part of this incredible Timberwolves organization,” Edwards said. “It’s amazing to see where hard work can take you.”
The youngster will be entering his 4th year with the Timberwolves as he finished the 2022-23 season with e pretty decent numbers – 24.6 points on average, 5.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists, while shooting 46.9 percent from the field and 36.9 percent from three-point range.
