The National Basketball League has fined the Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards 50,000 dollars for his chair accident where he was filmed swinging a folding chair that hit 2 bystanders at the conclusion of Minnesota’s campaign-ending postseason defeat to the Denver Nuggets in April.

The fine was shared by NBA today – 4 months after the scene happened – because of a criminal investigation for Anthony’s conduct, which was dismissed in July.
The league’s executive VP Joe Dumars shared with the media that the Timberwolves guard was fined for his reckless actions in frustration that struck 2 people.
Anthony missed a match-tying 3-pointer at the end of the Timberwolfs’ Game 5 defeat to the Nuggets and ran off the court as the 2 franchises exchanged handshakes. It was recorded that the player swung the chair before entering the locker room.
Edwards signed a rookie max deal extension worth up to 260 million dollars with Minnesota last month and, at the moment, is with the USA’s national team as they will play at the FIBA World Cup later this month.
