Anthony Richardson has agreed personal terms with the Indianapolis Colts to a 4-year contract worth $34m fully guaranteed.
The #Colts and No. 4 overall pick QB Anthony Richardson have agreed to terms on his 4-year, $33.99M fully guaranteed deal that includes a $21.72M signing bonus paid 100% upfront, per me and @TomPelissero. Deal done by agent @djackson_legacy. pic.twitter.com/CihRdM3YQO

Richardson was one of the few remaining first-round picks, who weren’t signed and now his moment seems to have come.
The 6-foot-4, 232-pound Richardson posted the fastest 40-yard dash time (4.43 seconds) along with the best vertical jump (40 1/2 inches) and broad jump (10 feet, 9 inches) of the 15 quarterbacks at the NFL combine.
The Colts had no hesitation in signing the quarterback and with his help they firmly believe they can become a playoff contender.
The Indianapolis team will also hope the 21-year-old will stay long-term and solve their issues at that position. The Colts haven’t been able to find a strong replacement for Andrew Luck, who surprisingly retired back in 2019.
