The Brazilian attacking player left with an injury during the Red Devils’ 4-1 victory against Chelsea on May 25th. Still, it was expected that he could recover on time for the final at Wembley.
Ten Hag told the media today that Anthony still struggles with the injury and can’t play for their team tomorrow.
“It is unlikely,” the head coach shared. “There is still a possibility, but almost certainly, he will not play. Anthony didn’t make progress, so he still has a chance, but given that we had only 1 more day till the match, it’s probably too little time.”
