The Dutchman says he is fully committed to his current club Feyenoord

Feyenoord’s head-coach Arne Slot has dismissed the opportunity to take charge over Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.

The 44-year-old has been high on the wish list of the London since ever since the sacking of Antonio Conte back in March.

However, Slot, who sensationally led Feyenoord to the Eredevisie title, is said to be in advanced talks with the Rotterdam team for a contract extension.

“I have been hearing a lot of rumours going around about other interest in me,” said Slot.

“Although I am thankful, my wish is to stay at Feyenoord and continue working on what we created last year.

“There is not – and there has not been – transfer conversation and yesterday’s meeting was exclusively for an extension. All talks with the club have always been only in that sense. Looking forward to next season with Feyenoord.”

Spurs search for new head-coach continues as they desperately try to stabilize their performances and once again be in contention for at least top 4 finish next season.
