Kai Havertz is only steps away from becoming an Arsenal player, according to reports.
The two are believed to have reached an agreement over alleged transfer fee, worth £65m. The only step missing is the personal terms, whoch Haverts will soon discuss with the Gunners.
The 24-year-old joined Chelsea in 2020 from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee, estimated to be around £71m. He has scored nine goals in 47 appearances last season and was Chelsea’s hero in their memorable 2021 Champions League final, scoring the only goal that ensured the Blues the trophy.
Havertz contract expires in 2025 and it is believed that the new ownership at Chelsea aims to offload players that have 2 years or less left in their contract in order to compensate for part of their massive spending in the last two transfer windows.
