Arsenal and Tottenham draw after 4 goals at Emirates

The North London derby finished without a winner.

Arsenal and Tottenham remain undefeated in the Premier League as the 2 sides can’t beat each other after 2-2 at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal took the lead after Bukayo Saka shot was deflected by Cristian Romero, and the Spurs defender scored an own goal.

In the 38th minute, Tottenham had a fantastic chance to tie the game but Brennan Johnson’s shot was saved by David Raya. However, 4 minutes later, Spurs captain Heung-Min Son netted in the bottom right post to even the result at the North London derby.

The Gunners receive a penalty after Romero handball and Bukayo Saka converted it in the 54th minute. However, only 1 minute later, Jorginho, who replaced Declan Rice at halftime, made a huge mistake and Spurs tie the match again as Heung-Min Son scored his 2nd goal after James Maddison’s assist.

The Korean played until the 78th minute when he was replaced by Richarlison.

Arsenal is in 5th place with 14 points after 4 victories and 2 draws from 6 games, while Tottenham is in 4th place with the same points as the Gunners but will better goal difference.
