Bukayo Saka, who was doubtful according to the manager Arteta, scored the 1st goal in the 17th minute. At the end of the 1st half, Martin Odegaard converted a penalty to double the lead for the visiting side.
Kai Havertz scored his 1st goal for the Gunners in the 53rd minute from a penalty. The last goal in the clash netted Ben White in the additional time.
