Arsenal beat Brighton 2-0 to top the Premier League

Arsenal won against Brighton 2-0 at Emirates and is in the 1^st place in the league as they overcame Liverpool, but the Reds face Manchester United later and can get back at the top.

We saw no goals during the 1^st half. However, Gabriel Jesus netted at the beginning of the 2^nd half in the 53^rd minute to give the home side the lead.

The Seagulls had chances after the 80^th minute to tie the match, but they missed them. That’s when Kai Havertz scored to double Arsenal lead Eddie Nketiah’s assist and to make sure that the Gunners would get the 3 points from the match in London.

Arsenal are in 1^st place in Premier League with 39 points after 17 matches, and the Gunners are back on the winning way after the defeat against Aston Villa last weekend.
