Arsenal secured a 7-point lead at the top of the Premier League after beating Brighton 1-0 away from home, while at the same time Man City failed to defeat Nottingham Forest at Etihad as the match finished without a winner – 2-2.
The Seagulls played better than the Gunners most of the match, but failed to score a single goal, and Bukayo Saka’s goal remained the only 1 in the clash. Saka’s routine shot took a deflection off Baleba and went through the legs of the Seagulls’ goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen, who definitely can be blamed for not saving the shot.

During the same time, Pep Guardiola’s side faced Forest at home as the Sky Blues took the lead in the match twice, but Nottingham tied the result on both occasions and will leave Manchester unbeaten.
Semenyo scored the only goal in the 1st half to secure a 1-goal lead for Man City, but Gibbs-White evened the score at the beginning of the 2nd half.
Rodri scored in the 62nd minute to make it 2-1 for the Sky Blues, but Anderson’s brilliantly curved finish in the 76th minute made it 2-2.
Manchester City had a golden chance in the last seconds of the extra time to score 3 goals, but a Forest player cleared the ball after Savinho’s shot inside the box.
