The London clubs could try to sign Brentford’s striker.

Arsenal and Chelsea are very interested in trying to ink Brentford’s forward Ivan Toney at the beginning of next year when the transfer window opens.

Ivan is currently serving an 8-month ban from playing after admitting 232 breaches of the league’s betting rules.

Toney will be available for selection on January 16th next year, so clubs could try to sign him during the transfer window, which opens exactly there.

Brentford may sell after they are doing fine in the Premier League even without him and the style of play of the London side changed, so they no longer depend on Toney to score goals.

In August Ivan gave an interview and shared that he is willing to play a different team.

“The next team I go to, if I were to join another, would be the right side,” Toney shared. “I’ve been a Liverpool supporter my whole life… But from a young, I’ve admired Arsenal.

“I’ve liked watching Arsenal and their style and their supporters’ passion. I’m a Liverpool boy at heart.”
