Declan Rice scored for 4-3 in the dying minutes of stoppage time

Arsenal got massive three points away to the newly-promoted Luton in their Round 15 Premier League game, finishing 4-3.

The Gunners were looking at upsetting draw before Declan Rice’s shot in the 97 minute that went into the net to keep the London side at the top of the table for at least one more week.

The Gunners had the upper hand at the start of the match, but rarely threaten the home team’s goal. In the 20th minute, Kaminski failed to clear a good ball and sent it into a throw-in.

Gabriel Jesus made a quick throw and found Bukayo Saka. The Englishman entered the penalty area and passed to Gabriel Martinelli, who outpaced Teden Menghi and sent the ball into the bottom left corner for 0:1.

Arsenal lost their lead five minutes later. Gabriel Osho jumped over Gabriel Jesus after a cross from a corner and headed the ball into David Raya’s goal.

Right before the break Arsenal took the lead again. Ben White made a quick double with Saka on the right and crossed into the penalty area, where Gabriel Jesus’ header left no chance for Thomas Kaminski to make it 1:2.

Four minutes after the restart of the game, the home side equalized again. Elijah Adebayo outran Declan Rice and David Raya in the penalty area after a cross from a corner and scored a superb header to make it 2-2.

In the 57th minute, Luton made a complete turnaround. They unfolded t a formidable attack led by Ross Barkley. The midfielder got the ball to Andros Townsend in front of the box and the veteran cut back to Barkley on the left. He burst into the penalty area and with a strong shot, he made it 3:2.

However, the advantage of the home team lasted for just three minutes. Gabriel Jesus fought with Mengi for a through ball in the penalty area and passed to Kai Havertz, who got away from Osho and from a few meters overcame Kaminski for 3:3.

It was looking like the game was going to finish at a 3-3 draw, but in the 7th minute of stoppage time Declan Rice headed a lofted pass from Odegaard and sent the Arsenal fans into dreamland to clinch the three points.
