The Gunners dominated the Magpies in the 1st half, and the 2 goals were the least that could have happened for the away side. Arsenal had 11 goal attempts and 4 shots on goal, while Newcastle had 0 goal attempts.

Arteta’s side continued to dominate until the end of the 1st half, but only luck saved the away team from conceding more goals.

At the beginning of the 2nd half, Havertz missed a golden opportunity to score his 2nd goal in the match after his shot went inches wide of the right post.

However, Bukayo Saka made it 3-0 for the Gunners in the 65th minute after a fantastic strike from inside the box as only 4 minutes later, Arsenal were leading 4-0 after Declan Rice assisted from the corner to Jakub Kiwior, who headed the ball into Karius’ net.
