Arsenal trash Chelsea 5-0 at Emirates to remain at the top

Arsenal destroyed Chelsea 5-0 at Emirates Stadium and are in the 1^st place in the Premier League with 77 points after 34 matches – 3 more than Liverpool but the Reds have a game in hand, and 4 more than Manchester City but the Sky Blues have 2 games in hand.

Leandro Trossard started from the 1^st minute on the pitch and scored the opening goal in the game in the 4^th minute after Declan Rice’s assist. That’s now the 1^st half ended.

However, in the 2^nd half, Arteta’s side destroyed the Blues with 4 goals within 18 minutes. Ben White doubled Arsenal’s lead in the 50^th minute before Kai Havertz’s brace as the German netted in the 57^th and in the 65^th minute to make the lead 4-0.

Ben White also scored twice as he made it 5-0 with a phenomenal shot inside the penalty area that looked like a pass but ended up in Chelsea’s net.
