Arsenal's manager shared that Arsenal's struggles in front of the goal are becoming a psychological problem.

The Gunners head coach triumphed with the FA Cup in his debut campaign with the team in 2019/20, beating Manchester City and Chelsea to lift the title and extend the North London side’s record to 14 titles. The Reds have triumphed in the FA Cup 8 times.

However, things look very different now. The Spaniard shared that the club’s problems in front of goal have become “psychological” after his team failed to score again.

The Gunners were punished for many missed chances as Jakub Kiwior’s own goal and Luis Diaz’s goal in the extra time sent Liverpool into the 4th round of the FA Cup with a 2-0 victory at Emirates.

Mikel added: “It was really disappointing being eliminated after a big performance vs. probably the club that is the most in-form in the world. Arsenal played better than Liverpool, we generated much more than the opposition, and we created so many chances, but the only problem was that we didn’t score.”
