Arsenal manager has defended David Raya after his mistakes contributed to 2 goals for Luton Town in the team’s 4-3 victory at Kenilworth Road a few days ago and shared that the goalkeeper’s form has been “fantastic” since joining the team during the summer transfer window.

David, who became the 1st choice as the goalkeeper for the North London side and replaced Aaron Ramsdale this campaign, made mistakes for Elijah Adebayo’s and Ross Barkley’s goals in the 2nd half. His team was close to losing points against the newly promoted side before Declan Rice scored the winning goal in the last possible moment in extra time.
“If you look at Raya’s form and how he has played since joining our club, it’s fantastic,” Arteta claimed.
“I can count on 3 impressive goalkeepers, and I’m really happy. I have impressive attackers. Some did not play each game, but there’s no questions about that.”
