Mikel Arteta, manager of Arsenal, was bold in predicting who would win the title – his team or Manchester City.
At the press conference before tonight’s game against Southampton, Arteta said that his club has charge of its fate.
“What we are playing for is something incredible,” the Spaniard said. “The club hasn’t fought for this position for a long, long time. Finally, it’s in our hands. We want to do it.”
The London team is in the 1st place in Premier League with 74 points, 4 more than Man. City, but the Sky Blues had a game in hand.
The Gunners failed to win their last 2 games in the league as they failed to keep a 2-0 lead against Liverpool and West Ham, and both matches finished 2-2.
