Jose Mourinho is no longer the boss of AS Roma after the Italian club fired him today.
The Portuguese manager’s deal was until the end of the campaign, but after the Wolves were defeated 3-1 by Milan in the past weekend and with the team 9th in Serie A, the owners decided that the best course of action is to let him go now.

Jose became Roma’s manager in May 2021 and triumphed with the Europa Conference League title in 2022 and reached the Europa League final in the past campaign.
“We would like to thank Mourinho on behalf of all of us at the club for his passion and efforts since he became the Wolves manager,” shared owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin.
“We will always remember all the fantastic moments and joy that he brought to our club, but we think that an immediate change is needed at the moment. We wish Mourinho and his assistants all the best in their future projects.”
