Aston Villa defeated Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge in London as the winning goal was scored by Ollie Watkins in the 2^nd half.

The most interesting thing in the 1^st half happened in the 44^th minute when Axel Disasi scored, but the referees ruled it out due to offside, and Chelsea failed to take the lead at the end of the first half.

The 2^nd half started in the worst possible way for the Blues as Malo Gusto received a direct red card in the 58^th minute for roughing.

Aston Villa took advantage of the situation and started to control the match. That paid off as the Villians took the lead at Stamford Bridge as Ollie Watkins scored in the 73^rd minute from an impossible angle.
