The Italian will most likely replace Emi Buendia, who suffered a knee injury during the offseason.
The Premier League club will pay a 6 million dollar loan fee, and the deal includes a “conditional compulsory purchase option.”
If some conditions are hit, Villa must pay 25 million dollars + 17 million dollars in achievable add-ons to sign the midfielder permanently.
The Villains started the new season in Premier League with a 5-1 defeat against Newcastle and lost defender Tyrone Mings who left the match with a knee problem.
Italy international, who has played 13 matches for his country, only signed with Galatasaray a few months ago but won the Turkish league in the summer. Zaniolo impressed with Roma’s shirt in Serie A, but after conflicts with the fans, he left for Turkey.
“Aston Villa is one of the best teams in England and in the Premier League. I want to play and show my quality.”
