The Houston team ran riot and took victory with relative ease

The Houston Astros defeated the Minnesota Twins in a convincing fashion 5-1 on Tuesday night.

Alex Bregman and Chas McGormick shone for the Houston team as they homered in the second inning and had 2 RBI’s.

The duo established a quick 3-0 lead to end Minnesota’s Joe Ryan’s run of six games without allowing a homer.

The Astros finished off the game with two runs in the third inning and clinched their 4th win in 5 games.

“It’s always good to get off to a good start and get the lead and the way Bielak was throwing the ball for us it was good to get him some run support early,” Bregman said. “And he just attacked and pounded the strike zone early.”

For Minnesota rookie Royce Lewis doubled a night and gave the Twins their only extra-base hit.
