The franchise shared that their player will undergo the medical procedure on Wednesday in Chicago. Dr. Brian Cole (Rush University Medical Center) is scheduled to complete it.
Gabriel played for the last time on June 2022 as he pushed the franchise to the Stanley Cup in Tampa, Florida – the 3rd in the team’s history. Landeskog had 22 points in 20 matches in the playoffs.
The Swede could not play the entire 2022-23 season because of knee surgery – his 2nd this year. In October, Avalanche announced that he would not be available for 3 months, but now it has become clear that he will also miss the next season.
