Nathan MacKinnon was the star of the show with 2 goals and 2 assists to extend his point streak to 15 games.
Mikko Rantanen, Ryan Johansen, Valeri Nichushkin and Miles Wood also had goals for Colorado, which came back strong after thumping 6-2 loss at Winnipeg on Saturday night.
Goaltender Alexander Georgiev made 27 saves.
“I thought he was great,” coach Jared Bednar said of Georgiev. “They created some really good looks and some difficult saves and he was really sharp.”
Tomas Hertl scored two goals for the Sharks, while goaltender MacKenzie Blackwood finished with 23 saves.
