Pro Bowl TE Mark Andrews was activated off IR today, providing a major boost for QB Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship Clash.
“I’m happy,” Andrews admitted. “I love the game. I love the team. I love Baltimore. I’m going to give them everything I can.”
When Mark injured his left ankle during a 34-29 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals on November 16th, the initial fear was that he would be out for the rest of the campaign. But the tight end spent 6 hours a day rehabbing a cracked fibula and ligament damage.
Baltimore manager John Harbaugh claimed it took “an amazing amount of toughness” for his player to put himself in position to be on the field over 2 months after this significant problem.
“Without a doubt, the physical pain Andrews went through … I saw him in the training room,” the Ravens head coach shared. “[It’s a] very painful problem. Very painful rehab.”
