The NFL franchise will use its player to fill the void left by the RB's season-ending injury.

Twenty-four hours after the Baltimore Ravens lost RB J.K. Dobbins to a campaign-ending Achilles injury, manager John Harbaugh shared today that the organization will not add a new running back outside of the team and will use a committee in the backfield to replace him.

Ex-Pro Bowl running back Melvin Gordon III will receive a roster spot from the practice team to join Gus Edwards and Justice Hill in the Ravens backfield. In yesterday’s 25-9 victory against the Houston Texans, Gus received most of the snaps on early downs, and Justice curiously was given most of the touches in the red zone as he finished with 2 TDs.

“I think about each player in our organization as a starter, just being honest,” the coach shared. “They are all great players. They’re part of our organization for a reason — it’s because they’re good enough to be on the field, and all those backs will participate in many matches.”
