The Catalans made a stunning comeback to get their fifth win in a row

Barcelona produced a very dramatic 3-2 home win against Celta Vigo in a La Liga fifth round clash. The champions trailed 0-2 at the very end of the second half, but managed to pull off a memorable turnaround that saw them move 16 points clear at the top of the provisional table.

The Galicians took the lead through Jorgen Larsen, who was on target after 19 minutes played at the Olympic Stadium. Missed chances followed for Barca, and in the 76th minute, Anastasios Dovikas also scored after a quick counter to double the lead for the away side.

In the following minutes, the hosts pressed their opponent and showed more serious concentration in front of the goal. Robert Lewandowski showed his world class and pulled one goal back in the 81st minute after a pass from Joao Felix. The Polish striker equalized just five minutes later, this time from Joao Cancelo’s assist.

A minute before the end of regular time, Gavi crossed for Cancelo, who scored the winning goal for Barcelona from close range to the delight of 45,000 fans.

Celta remained in 17th position in the standings.
