Barcelona is untouchable on La Liga top after 4-0 win over Elche

Robert Lewandowski pushed Barca for the win with two goals and an assist

Barcelona breezed past Elche and won 4-0 in their La Liga clash on Saturday. With the victory they now have 15 points lead over Real Madrid and are practically unreachable even though they’ve played an extra game.

Barca started the match well and got their first goal at the 20-minute mark. Ronald Araujo headed the ball over the defence to Robert Lewandowski, who fired it into the back of the net.

Ten minutes into the second half Ansu Fati got on the scoresheet with a nice goal. He unleashed a shot just outside the box after a brilliant dribbling display and sent the ball into the bottom left corner.


In the 66 minute Lewandowski controlled nicely pass on the edge of the box and produced a low drive shot in the middle of the goal.


Just four minutes later the Polish forward found Ferran Torres on a good position and the Spaniard fired the ball into the bottom left corner for the final 4-0 score.
