Bayern Munich are discussing internally selling Alphonso Davies after the end of the season because of the Canadian’s consistent problems with injuries. He was rumored to leave the Bavarian team many times in the past, but when Davies inked a new deal in 2025 until 2030, those speculations stopped.
However, his problems with injuries continue, and now Bayern are seriously thinking about selling him this summer as Manchester United are very interested in the left-back.
Alphonso became a big part of the Bavarian giants since 2019, as he helped Bayern to achieve a treble as a starter in his debut season. Things didn’t work so well for the Canadian in the past few campaigns, as he has struggled with injuries, and now he is again out with a hamstring problem and will not travel to join his teammates in Canada during the international break.
The Red Devils are looking for a player exactly like Davies in the summer, as they have Luke Shaw at left back at the moment, but the experienced Englishman has often been sidelined with injuries in the past few seasons.
