Bayern Munich has successfully signed João Palhinha from Fulham, with the Portuguese international joining the German champions on a four-year contract. The transfer comes after a year of intense speculation and a dramatic last-minute failure to finalize the move last summer.
The deal is reportedly worth around €50 million, with an additional €5 million in potential bonuses.
Palhinha, 29, expressed his excitement about joining one of Europe’s elite clubs. “This is one of the happiest days of my life. I’m now playing for one of the absolute top clubs in Europe, it’s a dream come true for me and I’m very proud of it. I’m looking forward to the atmosphere and the fans at the Allianz Arena. I want to celebrate success with FC Bayern and win titles – I’ll give it my all,” he said.

The midfielder’s arrival is expected to strengthen Bayern’s midfield significantly. Palhinha has been keen on the move to Bayern for some time, and his acquisition is seen as a major boost for the team as they aim to continue their domestic dominance and compete for European honors.
