Bayern Munich won the biggest derby in German football versus Borussia Dortmund with the decisive 4-0. Bayern have won 9 of the last 10 editions of Der Klassiker. The team is in second place in the standings, two points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.
Thomas Tuchel’s team forged their success in the first ten minutes of the match. Dayo Upamecano and Harry Kane were accurate for the away side, as both goals were assisted by Leroy Sane. Upamecano headed home from a corner, then Sane found Kane brilliantly and the England captain scored into an empty net.
In stoppage time of the first half, the hosts’ Doniel Mallen missed a great opportunity, sending the ball just over the crossbar from a good position.
Early in the second half, a goal by Bayern’s Jamal Musiala was disallowed for offside. In the 70th minute, Musiala scored again, but the goal was disallowed due to Harry Kane’s offside position.
