The German champions are willing to break their transfer record for Florian Wirtz

The hottest topic in Germany in recent days is Bayern Munich’s interest in Bayern Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz. Bayern are interested in the 20-year-old midfielder, reported Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg.

The Bavarians are ready to break their transfer fee record and pay the staggering 130 million euros.

Wirtz is one of the biggest talents in the world, Barcelona are also interested in him, but Plettenberg revealed that Wirz is keen on a move to Bayern, while a transfer abroad is currently not an option.

Wirtz is top of Bayern’s wish list for 2024 or 2025, but his eventual transfer depends on the stay or departure of  Musiala and Thomas Müller, whose contracts run until 2026 and 2024 respectively.

At the moment, the most expensive transfer is Harry Kane, which could cost the club up to 110-115 million euros, depending on the bonuses.
