Bayern top Werder 2-1 and will be the leader after Round 31

Bayern Munich overcame Werder Bremen 2-1 at Weserstadion and secured 1^st place after this week in Bundesliga as they played before Dortmund.

Bayern Munich announces João Palhinha transfer

The 1^st goal for the Bavarian club came in the 62^nd minute as Serge Gnabry scored after Jamal Musiala’s assist. Ten minutes later, Leroy Sane made it 2-0 after Noussair Mazraoui’s pass.

Niklas Schmidt scored for Werder in the 87^th minute, but the time till the end was not enough for the Bremen team to have a chance to tie the clash and get a point.

Thomas Tuchel’s club is in 1^st place with 65 points after 31 matches – 4 more than Dortmund that will play their game in hand tomorrow. They will face Schalke 04 at home next week.

Werder Bremen is in 12^th place with 35 points after 31 games. The team will travel to play against RB Leipzig next week.
