Belgium beat Azerbaijan 1-0 at Dalga Arena in Baku

Belgium won against Azerbaijan 1-0 in round 5 from the Euro qualifications and are back at the top of Group F with 10 points from 4 matches – as Austria have the same points from the same number of games. Still, the Red Devils have a better goal difference.

Al Shabab’s forward Yannick Carrasco scored the only goal in the 38^th minute after an assist from fellow forward PSV’s Johan Bakayoko.

The captain and new AS Roma player Romelu Lukaku spent 66 minutes on the pitch before being replaced by Michy Batshuayi.

Azerbaijan have only 1 point from its opening 4 matches in the group after a 1:1 against Estonia in Baku and is in last place with a -9 goal difference.

Belgium will host Estonia next week on Tuesday, while Azerbaijan will play a friendly against Jordan on the same day.
