Bellingham hero for Real Madrid’s 1-0 win vs. Union Berlin

The England international netted in the 94th minute to secure the 3 points for the Royal Club.

Real Madrid defeated Union Berlin at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in the last possible moment after the new signing. Jude Bellingham scored in the extra time for a deserved victory after the Spanish team dominated the match against its German opponent.

The hosts were the better team in the 1st half as the Royal club had 12 goal attempts but only 1 shot on goal.

In the 2nd half, however, Real Madrid dominated and hit the post twice—Joselu’s shot in the 63rd minute ended in the post first. The biggest star of the Spanish side since the beginning of the new season, Jude Bellingham, also hit the post in the 83rd minute.

The second half finished with 0 goal attempts for Union Berlin as on the other side, Real Madrid had more than 15 goal attempts and in the extra time Jude Bellingham netted his 1st goal in the Champions League for his new team and his 6th overall since the beginning of the new campaign to give the victory to the Royal Club in the UCL opener.
