Los Blancos made a comeback in the local derby against Getafe

Real Madrid got very important, but difficult win against Getafe, beating them 2-1 in the local derby of La Liga’s 4th round.

Getafe got the opener in the 11 minute when the ball broke to Borja Mayoral and he found himself one-on-one with the keeper, which was no problem for him to score the first goal.

In the middle of the first half Real were sure they had to get a penalty after Bellingham fall in the penalty box, but the referee decided there is no significant contact as he reviewed the situation with VAR. Three minutes before the interval the England international was fouled again in the penalty area, but again there was no penalty.

After the break Real Madrid started firing on all cylinders and it was only logical that they scored in the 47 minute. Joselu was in the right place to get the rebound inside the box and rifled the ball inside the right post.

Real continued to push in a search for second goal, but it came late in the match – in the fifth minute of added time. Jude Bellingham was once again the hero for his new team as he got the ball inside the penalty area and was quick to send it in the bottom right corner for 2:1.

With the win Real Madrid has perfect score – 4 wins out of 4 games while Getafe are with four points at 13th place.
