There is optimism that Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow could be on the field again in the current campaign.
Today, Cincinnati manager Zac Taylor didn’t eliminate the chance of Joe playing again for the organization later this campaign. The quarterback was officially placed on injured reserve yesterday and is expected to be out at least 3 months after the procedure to repair a turf toe injury he sustained on September 14th.
But his head coach claimed that he doesn’t rule out Burrow from playing again for the Bengals this season after his mandated minimum absence.
“Joe will not play for at least a month,” Zac shared, talking about the time on the injured reserve list. “That is all that I can say about his situation at the moment.”
The Bengals’ star quarterback sustained the injury in the 1st half of Cincinnati’s 31-27 win vs. the Jaguars. Jake Browning will be the new starter for Cincinnati at the quarterback position, at least for the upcoming match vs. the Vikings.
