Manager Zac Taylor shared that the quarterback could be a match-time decision as he continues to recover from his problem, which limited his time with his teammates during the training this week.
“I don’t know yet,” the Bengals head coach claimed. “It’s really day-to-day. We’ll discuss and see where it goes.”
Joe threw to receivers in a red zone drill during today’s training that was open to the reporters—Burrow, who suffers from a right calf injury, trained in some capacity for the 2nd straight day. Burrow was limited yesterday after missing Thursday’s training.
If Joe can’t compete, Jake Browning would probably get his 1st career start in the league. Jake has been part of the Bengals’ training squad since 2021 and was trusted to be the reserve quarterback during the training camp.
