Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase’s availability remains in mystery with less than 7 days before the campaign opener.

Manager Zac Taylor shared that the wide receiver remained day-to-day as he continues not to train while he awaits the status of a deal extension. Today was the franchise’s last training before the match week officially starts.
The coach added that there will be contingencies in place to account for the fluid situation involving the 3-time Pro Bowler.
“Every week you have players that can’t compete because of injuries and other stuff so it’s nothing that is extraordinary,” the Bengals head coach claimed.
Zac declined to answer if he thought that Chase could play at the end of the weekend given that he didn’t train, but the manager remains positive.
Taylor claimed that, according to him, the wide receiver is in fantastic shape, which could allow him to play right away despite the lack of practice with his teammates, so there is a chance that we can see Ja’Marr against the NE Patriots on Sunday.
